Bridge Lessons

The Altoona Duplicate Bridge Club conducts bridge lessons for both beginners and intermediate players.

Instructor:  The classes are taught by club member and American Contract Bridge League accredited Kevin Davis.  The classes are informative and fun!  They are perfect for the new person to bridge, as well as, those with prior game experience.  

 

Classes are held at:  American Legion Social Hall

                                  Legion Park

                                  North Juniate Street and Belair Road

                                  Hollidaysburg, PA  16648

                                  (across from the Pennsylvania State Police barracks at 1510 North Juniata Street)  

Classes are held on:  Mondays

Classes Schedule:  Beginners from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM;  Intermediate players from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Lesson Programs:  Lesson programs consist of seven (7), eight (8) or nine (9) weeks of classes based on the American Contract Bridge League Series of teaching books.  The Bridge Series books include Bidding in the 21st Century, Play of the Hand in the 21st Century, Defense in the 21st Century and Commonly Used Conventions in the 21st Century.

Costs:  $60.00 per program series, payable at the beginning of the first class.  The $60 fee covers all scheduled classes and includes your sudent text manual.  No one is under any obligation to pursue the other three sessions after taking Bidding in the 21st Century.
